CODEX

It is with only a modicum of regret that I must decline to offer a sponsorship to Mademoiselle Finwe. This house will not see this nation's great University tarnished by elves; no matter how enthusiastic she may appear to be.
- Osanna Vandame

I could give no further of a resounding "no" at the knife-ear's request for sponsorship. It should not have left the alienage if it wanted acceptance somewhere.
- Sauvaige Gardet

In light of the brutal attack of spittle upon my son, I shant be offering a sponsorship to this whore.
- Estienne Morel

Mademoiselle Finwe is excitable, abrasive, obsessive, and utterly exhausting. I can think of no poorer candidate enter the University aside perhaps my estranged Uncle.
- Odila Bourque

TIMELINE

9:22 Dragon

Born in Halamshiral's alienage. From a young age, she expressed great interest in history and culture of her people and whatever she could learn of the Dalish. Her parents often encouraged her to pursue such dreams, and would do everything they could to help their inquisitive child.

9:36 Dragon

By the age of 14, she starts the process of trying to find a sponsorship to enter the University of Orlais. Aware that elves can attend with the right permissions, she tries hard to find someone that will help her. Rejection after rejection rolls in, but she persists.

9:40-42 Dragon

Finwe comes home one day to find that a freak accident sparked a fire, leaving her home and both her parents nothing more than ash. Upset, yet determined, she salvages what she can before setting out officially on her own for the first time in her life. This ultimately brings her into contact with two unlikely friends - Edward Davenport and Zachary. An ex-templar and a mage - for all Fin cares about such matters.

9:44 Dragon - Present

Finwe's life hasn't shifted overly much since the death of her parents. If nothing else, it's simply made her more determined to chase her dreams. To honor them by restoring knowledge to her people. She's been received by some Dalish clans as a guest with varying degrees of prejudice being a "flat-ear" with little to no "true" knowledge of their customs and culture.
