Despite of Rosalie’s desire to mingle and be friendly, the truth is that she is quite shy and socially inept, especially when it comes to matters of intimidation or persuasion. That said, once you get to know her it's easy to see that she had a heart of gold, and a temper that flares to defend others in the least expected situations. Stubborn and firm, in the true Fereldan fashion, as a civilian Rosalie avoids conflict but in the punctual occasion temper has gotten the worst of her. Rosalie is quite insecure; despite of always trying her best it’s common for her to feel that she has not done enough, or that she could do more. That makes her at times get “blocked” with panic in extreme situations, something that she wants to “fix” since in her opinion it’s quite a bad trait for someone that desires to become a healer. She can't help but compare herself to her siblings. She adores them, but feels they have gone further and achieved so much more than herself.
TIMELINE

Chilhood

Rosalie Rutherford was born in Honnleat, where she spent her childhood and teen years. Her memories from that time are quite calm and sweet (despite of how much she missed Cullen’s absence when he left to join the templars). Becoming a healer was her dream, and the lack of magic was no impediment to being her training in the art of medicine (within the reasonable limits of being in a small village)

Adulthood

Between the Blight and Corypheus, Rosalie put her dream on hold. She assisted in healing the wounded, and was able to practice medicine, but she was not able to do research to learn more about the taint and how to better help those who were infected with it.. While she hated to depart from her family, at times she was away from them, offering her assistence where healers were most needed. These times of hardship taught her the most practical side of medicine.

Orlais university

After taking a break and thinking about what to do with her life, she decided to pursue her dreams, moving to the university of Orlais after speaking with her family. She is on the verge of completing her education, and is afraid but eager to complete her formation.

Future and what holds

Despite of how much she misses home, Rosalie at times has doubts about coming back to Ferelden or stay for a bit longer on Orlais, because of how promising her research in the taint could be.
